Understanding barriers and demands for study/work abroad programs of low-income students, students with disabilities and indigenous students

To increase participation of underrepresented students in international learning opportunities, and test new approaches to reduce barriers to study/work abroad University of Lethbridge conducted a survey and formed focus groups to investigate these barriers and demand for study/work abroad opportunities for students with low income, students with disabilities, and Indigenous students.
