Development of a global classroom at Trinity College

Through this investment, Trinity College established The Global Classroom to be well equipped to allow “in-person” participants to be seen and heard in remote locations. The equipment purchased will allow members of an in person audience to participate effectively in international, virtual meetings by allowing cameras to focus on them when they are speaking, with the cameras automatically locating the in person speaker by computed assisted mapping of microphone source.
