Recognizing the inevitability of risk, this session will explore strategies for minimizing the impact of unforeseen events and mobilizing stakeholders for efficient resolution. From proactive planning to swift response, join us in discovering insights on navigating international challenges with resilience and agility. The session will feature small group discussions allowing you to share and learn best practices from other institutions in attendance.
Objectives:
- Be exposed to best practices related to crisis management within the framework of GSO departures
- Explore mitigating the impacts of undesired situations abroad
- Understand the role of your different stakeholders when managing a crisis
- Foster resilience and adaptability in crisis situations
This training is composed of:
- English: 1.5-hour synchronous (live) session on March 21st, 1:00–3:30 PM EST.
- French: 1.5-hour synchronous (live) session on March 21st 10:00–11:30 AM EST.
Target audience:
- People accompanying groups.
- People responsible for group trips.

PLEASE NOTE THAT SPOTS ARE LIMITED. Only one submission per institution will be considered for each course offered. Faculty/ staff accompanying students and institutions that have not yet benefitted will be given preference.
