This experience helped me gain a lot more self-confidence and the feeling that you can talk to almost anyone and not be nervous or anxious about how the conversation is going. I used to struggle with conversing with strangers a lot with prior to my GSO experience. I also feel more comfortable when doing job interviews now, as I had to talk to a lot of new people who I hadn't met before while I was away in Finland. I feel like my experience has helped me become more of an independent learner and has increased my ability for critical thinking.
