A NU Take on Outbound Mobility: Re-branding Nipissing University’s Exchange Program

The project was driven by the objectives to increase student mobility, particularly with students with disabilities, indigenous students and low-income student and to promote mobility to non-traditional countries. We collected feedback from these demographics of students through a series of surveys. We used their feedback to tailor marketing material and plan recruitment events that addresses their concerns but also promotes an experience that they see themselves able and wanting to participate in. With the knowledge gained through this project we hope to increase the total amount of students who participate in an outbound mobility opportunity during their degree.
