OCAD U International builds and delivers Collaborative Online International Learning and COIL + (COIL with a experiential learning travel component) programs, providing enhanced student access to international experiences. The unique COIL Studio + Professional Experience program combines OCAD University’s strengths in studio-based, active learning with opportunities to build global networks, experiences and competencies in creative and cultural sectors internationally. These for-credit opportunities build off the successfully launched International Online Residency Experiences co-curricular model. This leads to the sustainability of many new international partnerships, while providing students accessible, safe and more-affordable options beyond traditional semester-long exchanges.
