This project seeks to develop and provide pre-departure training to prepare students for the risks and realities of international mobility. At UQAR, there was previously no pre-departure training to prepare students for international mobility. In preparation for the resumption of international mobility in 2021, and to meet the objectives of Canada’s new International Education Strategy, this project analyzed best practices in this area and was able to develop a free, self-supporting online pre-departure training program.
