Developing a Collaborative Online (COIL) Cultural Learning Course that will include both virtual and in-person opportunities

The project aims to increase understanding of — and respect for — culture within our global community. Trent University develops a COIL course in cultural learning and literacy in collaboration with their partner in Chile.  Five specific international projects are developed or enhanced with partners in Mexico, Chile, Honduras, Alaska (USA) and Germany, where students can explore academic learning, workplace experiential learning, research and social cultural immersion.
Trent’s objective is that every Trent student have the opportunity to include an international experience within their Trent degree and be better prepared for an outbound mobility opportunity.
