Equity by Design – Expanding access to the outward mobility experience through the application of UDL practices and principles

Mount Allison University is seeking to develop a triad of faculty-led, for-credit field schools with partner universities in Ecuador (Universidad de San Fransisco de Quito), the Netherlands (Utrecht University) and South Korea (Ewha Womans University). Applying the principles of Universal Design for Learning at every stage of design and implementation, the programs will eliminate barriers that prevent students with documented disabilities and those who identify as low-income from participating in impactful experiences. Designing for equity, Mount Allison will work to significantly expand opportunities for all its students to hone global competencies through participation in culturally rich study abroad programs.
