The Global Etuaptmumk/Two-Eyed Seeing & Co-Learning program provides students with an immersion opportunity to complete academic credit courses on sustainability and bi-culturalism co-guided by Indigenous elders and knowledge holders in Dunedin, New Zealand and Toronto, Canada. Together students will critically reflect on their own cultural context, identities, and their responsibility within shared spaces, thereby preparing them to act in respectful, reciprocal and responsible relationships with each other and the natural environment. The Etuaptmumk approach engages Indigenous and non-Indigenous students as equal partners in the learning process, valuing all ways of being, knowing and doing.
