Global Learning Course Development

This project sought to identify the challenges and barriers in outbound mobility opportunities so that new approaches to better prepare students to transition to a physical mobility experience. In addition to creating a Global Learning Course that was designed to foster intercultural competencies while also enhancing student awareness of international employment and learning opportunities, the project also solicited input from Indigenous, low-income, and students with disabilities about their opinions, goals and challenges related to international mobility opportunities. Feedback from students that had previously participated in mobility initiatives were also gathered so that benefits and challenges could be identified.
