Global Mobility Peer Support

The Global Mobility Peer Support project provided a platform for students to address barriers to participating in outbound mobility. The focus was to engage in intercultural learning while travel is not possible. Online engagement sessions were organized for participants to engage with alumni students, international partner institutions, and past exchange students. Participants reported increased interest to participate in an outbound mobility experience in the future and confidence to engage in cross-cultural dialogue. The project had a focus on engaging students from historically underrepresented categories for study abroad engagement such as Indigenous students, low-income students, and students with disabilities.
