Go Global First Year STudy Abroad ExPeriences (Go Global STEPs)

The Go Global First Year STudy Abroad ExPeriences (Go Global STEPs) is a sustainable and scalable program to provide 420 first-year students with an opportunity to participate in short-term faculty-led study abroad programs. Supported by a direct institutional match of 178%, the program will ensure that 5% of undergraduate students have an international experience, with 73% of funding to support low-income students, students with disabilities and Indigenous students. Supported by established partners from non-traditional destinations, the Go Global Office will provide full wraparound services and support the creation of new partnerships to increase the number and diversity of international experiences.
