Increasing Access, Equity and Diversity in Outbound Mobility Experiences

George Brown College (GBC) prides itself on offering a rich variety of study/work abroad experiences, which the college views as a powerful way for students to build new skills, bring their creative ideas to life and prepare for success in the global innovation economy. Project wraparound activities, services and supports will be tailored to students’ diverse identities through before-, during-, and after-programming. With its network of international partners, GBC will give priority to 258 students traditionally underrepresented in education abroad programs (low-income, students with disabilities, Indigenous, and racialized students) and increase access, equity and diversity in mobility experiences.
