Learning and Working together to Build 2026

This project provides a framework to develop and expand NIC’s Study Abroad (SA) program over the next 5 years. It builds on NIC’s previous expertise and also on current knowledge gained through projects completed under the Outbound Student Mobility Pilot Program. This project is designed based on evidence gathered and resources developed at NIC that supports a customized, student-centered, versatile, and sustainable SA program focusing on experiential and place-based learning. The goal is to create opportunities for students to learn in their communities and take their local learning internationally to explore social, economic, and environmental sustainability topics.
