Increasing Access to International Mobility Through Joint Mobilization of General Academic Disciplines

Bringing together the Cégep de Chicoutimi and the Cégep de Jonquière, this inclusive mobility project focuses on general academic disciplines.

This project facilitates international mobility for all institutional clienteles, regardless of students’ chosen academic programs. It thus reflects our institutions’ commitment to address obstacles impeding students’ access to mobility. In terms of expected immediate results, an innovative international mobility process put in place, boosting our pool of potential participants and improving the guidance strategies and mechanisms supporting this process.

In particular, the project develops the following aspects:

  1. A joint process, developed and implemented by both CEGEPs, focusing on shared expertise and resources.
  2. A mobility process rooted in general training and common to all of the CEGEPs’ academic programs.
  3. The pooling of training tools with a view to enhancing student preparation and related services.
