Nation to Nation: Building Indigenous Knowledge Across International Borders

In its first effort to work collaboratively on an education abroad activity, member institutions of the Maple League will mount an opportunity for Indigenous students to participate in an international experience together. The international offices of Acadia University, Bishop’s University, Mount Allison University and St. Francis Xavier University will work together to initiate a short-term study abroad program focusing on the Indigenous experience in the host country. By working together, the institutions will build their capacity to support other education abroad activities, create effective wraparound supports and build their ability to work as a consortium on international initiatives.
