Passage from Northwest Canada: students from northern BC, Yukon, and Northwest Territories Go Global

The project unites five northern institutions from BC, Yukon, and NWT to create and deliver international study and work experiences for students who, traditionally, have not had these opportunities. By providing our students with global skills via study abroad, we can contribute to our northern communities and build their global engagement. The members work together to offer short, faculty-led study abroad experiences in non-traditional countries, like Chile, Costa Rica, Brazil, Finland, and New Zealand. We will widen access to study abroad by drawing 75% of participants from program target groups. Indigenous education is central to the project.
