“Phase Two – Outbound Mobility at UPEI: A Stronger, More Unified, Inclusive, and Reflective Approach”

Objective: to reduce barriers of remote Island living and student financial stress while increasing program quality and ensuring student support at every stage
Partners: send underrepresented and other students to existing partners in non-traditional countries & to newly established partnerships to experience the early revitalization of leading Indigenous communities in New Zealand and Nordic Region.
Activities: short- to long term for-credit experiences including faculty-led courses, study abroad, co-operative education work terms and/or internships
Results: new cultural understandings and enhanced employability skills empowering students to contribute to the reconciliation efforts within Canada and the indigenization and internationalization of the Univeristy of Prince Edward Island
