Preparing a Go Global Culture at Northern Lights College

The project set a foundation for the creation of an inclusive study abroad program at NLC. As a rural college, with high levels of first generation, low-income, and indigenous students, NLC does not have a track record of study abroad. NLC has identified the development of study abroad as a top priority, and NLC needs a foundation of intercultural competence for students, familiarity with study abroad modalities for faculty, and student exchange agreements with partners.
