Through this funding, Niagara College begins identifying and defining where global competencies are developed in the classroom and through various progressive internationalization experiences. We believe that by helping students identify and understand their pathway of developing global competency throughout their post-secondary education that this leads to increased interest in students applying these skills abroad through outbound mobility opportunities.

NC collaborated with Otago Polytechnic, to provide consultation on the process of assessing academic programs to begin plotting our institutional global competency framework.
