SMC Global Classroom – Celtic Studies and Mediaeval Studies

The project was designed to help students access Mediaeval and Celtic manuscripts and artifacts in lieu of travel to Maynooth University in Ireland. In place of travel the project aimed to construct a studio and electronic classroom to provide students access to digitized materials and engage faculty and librarians at Maynooth University to explore their collections at the famous Russell Library. The studio would also create “virtual worlds” as a teaching tool.
