TRU Indigenous Student Mobility Program

Thompson Rivers University’s Indigenous Education and All My Relations (AMR) Research Centre collaborated to expand the Indigenous Cultural Education Exchange (ICEE) to engage international partners in the creation of an international cohort of TRU’s Knowledge Makers Journal program. This program builds on the ICEE 3-week short-term program engaging Indigenous (CAN), Aboriginal (AUS) and Maori (NZ) students, faculty, staff and elders by focusing on Indigenous knowledge and issues. By connecting with partners from the ICEE program, this funding has introduced supplemental engagement activities to assist international travel and strengthen relationships, research approaches, and curriculum to compliment future mobility opportunities.
