Work Integrated Mobility Initiative Colombia

BCIT School of Business and Media has formed a relationship with a partner, Universitaria ITSA in Barranquila, Colombia that will serve as the model for other similar work Integrated Learning and technology transfer mobility programs. Participating BCIT students obtained important skills to function effectively in a global, technological business environment – cross-cultural knowledge and application skills; the ability to successfully undertake technology transfer, and; working remote utilizing available communications facilities. The project is an important pilot that BCIT will take lessons from to expand this approach in South and Central America.
