What I’ve been doing since my GSO experience

I am still completing my online Practical Nurse program through Norquest College which I hope to be completed spring 2025. I also work part time in a hospital as a Unit Clerk. Professionally the experience has helped me by opening my eyes to different ways some things can be done. Collaboration and new ideas help things from becoming stagnant. Academically it has helped in numerous ways but I believe most importantly it expanded my cultural understanding which helps with how I look at case studies.

Fun facts about me

I like all genres of music and recently decided to buy a bright teal Ukelele to learn.

I learned so much about myself, the group I travelled with that are all different cultures and ages, the schooling system in Netherlands, the people there, some of the language, the beauty of the country and so many other wonderful things. I didn’t know what to expect going into this experience and nothing could have prepared me for how AMAZING it was. Everyone should know about opportunities like GSO!
