The objective of this project was to find paid global virtual internships for Langara College students, making these opportunities accessible to especially students that traditionally would not engage in outbound mobility. We hoped to find options connected to other international educational institutions. We contacted 61 international institutions to determine whether they offered this type of programming. Next, we looked for and evaluated 32 potential providers that offered global virtual internships, narrowing down to 4 potential partners. The cost of the internships is between $1200-$1800, making this unaffordable to our students without the support of a financial grant.
