Effective Intercultural Communication Curriculum to Support Study Abroad and Intercultural Experiences

We purchased a licensing agreement from Simon Fraser University for the Effective Intercultural Communication (EIC) curriculum, to use in intercultural development training for students preparing to study abroad, MHC courses and programs wishing to include this content as well as embedded intercultural credentials. We worked with MHC faculty and staff to recruit 25 students for testing and early use of the curriculum. Twenty-one students completed all course requirements. Overall, students indicated high satisfaction with the course and materials, and an increased interest in study abroad or international experiences.
