Increasing Awareness and Preparedness for Indigenous Students for International Work and Study Opportunities

Beginning in January- with the support of CICAN and the Outbound Student Mobility Program- SIIT undertook a variety of recruitment and preparation activities for students interested in International work and study opportunities. Through this project, SIIT supported the work of a staff position to prepare students to participate in travel opportunities in the 2022 academic year. Project objectives were to: increase awareness and preparedness of students for international work and study opportunities; create recruitment and outreach materials; and to work with students to identify the wrap around supports required to engage in future travel opportunities.
