International Mobility for Indigenous Students

The project focused on developing a data-driven approach that assisted in identifying and minimizing barriers Indigenous students encounter while participating in international mobility. The survey looked at demographic, gender, income, family and other aspects of the Indigenous student’s life that impact both incentives and access to international mobility. In addition, capacity building and training for Indigenous Student Advisors resulted in a heightened understanding of international mobility opportunities and an increase in quality of support to Indigenous students. Promotional material on outbound student mobility, produced as part of the project, will assist Indigenous Student Advisors in their work with students.
