Pueblos Originarios en Argentina: UBC and Universidad Austral

The Virtual Forum on Indigenous Peoples of the Global South consisted of four 1.5-hour long workshops for Indigenous students at UBC to learn with and from Indigenous peoples of Argentina and Brazil. Throughout the workshops students were in active discussions with Indigenous community members from Argentina and Brazil to learn about their life history, cultural practices, worldviews, and spiritual links with their territories. Through translators, students discussed issues that they were passionate about and shared concerns from their communities in Canada.
